Welcome to Dzodze

The Chiefs and people of Dzodze welcome you. This website features information about Dzodze i.e. the people, their occupation, their believes and tradition among others.

The people of Dzodze speak Ewe, a language that is widely spoken in the Volta Region of Ghana and some parts of the Republic of Togo. Dzodze can be found in the Ketu District located in the south-eastern part of the Volta Region of Ghana, West Africa. About 10 kilometers from the district capital, Tokor-Denu.

Dzodze is 199 kilometers from Accra through Tokor and 87 kilometers from Ho.

Dzodze has nine divisions. These are Ablorme, Adagbledu, Apetefe, Afeyeme, Afiadenyigba, Dafornyame, Fiagbedu, Kpordoave and Kuli.

Dzodze is the political nerve of Ketu-North constituency with the people of Dzodze taking political appointments from MP (Member of Parliament) to Regional Ministers. Among some of the people who have been appointed Regional Ministers are Colonel Amable, Mr. Modestus Yawo Zebu Ahiable and Mr. Dzamesi, the current Regional Minister.

The current MP (Member of Parliament) is Mr. James Klutse Avedzi.
