Dzodze R.C. Primary School
Dzodze R.C. Primary School is one of the basic schools in Dzodze. It was established in 1912 under it's first head teacher Mr. Ayivor Andreas.

This establishment was made possible through the effort of one Kassah Zotra who travel on foot from Dzodze to Keta to make a request to the S.M.A. fathers to open a school at Dzodze. In addition he donated his piece of land on which the first and the present school and the catholic church stand.

The school started from Kindergarten and developed over the years with increase in population and infrastructure as well. This development saw the addition of streams 'B' and 'C' to the already existing stream 'A' in 1947 and 1989 respectively.

Presently, the school has a total population of 912 pupils under it's current headmistress Miss. Josephine S. Dzakpasu. It also has a staff strength of 23.

Academically, the school is touted as one of the best schools in the Ketu District. The school also takes part in other extra curricular activities such as athletic competitions, netball, handball, soccer competitions every year in which the school excels. The school placed second in the previous year's inter-school soccer competitions held in the circuit.

Additionally, the school takes part in music and cultural festivals held every year with a remarkable track record and in view of maintaining this performances the school has established a Borborbor Drumming group which also serves as the school's entertainment group.
